A hot summer has ended

This year we had a hot and fabulous summer here in Switzerland.
After the bad summers the last two years, this summer was superb and warm. For some of us maybe too warm, especially the furry guys had a warm time. But sometimes it was their own blame, nobody tells them to run around while the sun is burning on their fur, this means you Bubu!
Now it’s autumn and we will see, how beautiful this season will be.

I didn’t know how cool my buddy Bubu is! But hey, he’s absolutely the chief. He is so cool, that he needs a hoody. But … yes but if he hear a bang from somewhere, and even it is miles away. Then he is a really small dog and he is hiding in the shower or he’s leaning on me with big eyes.
Yup, little Bubu, is he sweet, isn’t he?

The hidden thing

Today I was walking with my dog Bubu, like every day, as he begun snooping around nervously. What was he smelling? Okay, Bubu always finds something that smells interesting, that’s nothing special. But as I went to see what exactly he was looking at, I was really surprised.

There was something small hidden in the grass. It was not moving. And when I went looking closer, it was a tiny baby fox. Right beside the path where I am walking every day. And of course I had no camera with me, but wait, my Nexus 5 is in my pocket.
I pulled it out, fumbled on the touchscreen with one hand and controlled Bubu on the leash with my other hand and at the end I managed both and shot an image of this sweet baby fox.

Bubu on the ridge

Once upon a time in the morning Bubu told, that he need to hike. So okay, I packed him in the trunk and drove to the cable car station in Adelboden, took the a ride up and we walked several hours around and enjoyed the beautiful alpine landscape.
The dangerous part is, what’s going on in the small head of Bubu. One moment not intent and the small guy is on a journey. And this was such a moment; should I or should I not…
This moment was coming later after he saw a mountain lake. But at the end of this walking, small Bubu was really finished.

Cream

From time to time I tell you a story of my buddy Bubu. You know Bubu is an italian truffles dog, which doesn’t find any truffles. No, it’s not his fault, I’m too lazy to teach him finding truffles. But what he likes is cream. After the cup was clean, he couldn’t believe there wasn’t any more. I can see it in his eyes, they tells me: “Ey, masta gimmi more of that stuff, this is not all, isn’t it?”
