Preikestolen

Right after we started at the parking lot, it starts to rain and it rains not just a little bit. But as you think if it rains, then you will find an empty spot, you are wrong.
Although the trail is not that easy to go, there were a lot of tourists on the way. Maybe they thought the same way like we had, if we are here, who knows when we could be there again, so ignore the weather and go anyway.
But well, walking 6 hours through the rain, was interesting experience and it was good, my 5DmkII is weather sealed
The look back

After some rainy days and missed opportunities, we left Lysebotn with the ferry on our way again through the wild fjordland of Norway.
On the half way to our landing place, where we can drive by car again, I took a picture back into the narrow Lysefjord with his high towering mountains on both sides. Yes, it would have been nice, to take a look down to the fjord from the top of the mountains, but rain and thick fog made us a line through the bill.
What a mess, now I have to drive again up to the north for another try…
And the ferry is gone

At this point the street is ending and further you can only go with the ferry. Foolish if you can see this image with the ferry from behind, then you have to wait another 24h at this point of nowhere, until the next ferry is coming.
But good for us, we were coming via the ferry from Lysebotn and have just left it. Because in a short while we took the road in the other direction, left the Lysefjord and drove further on our journey through Norway.
